PLEASE BRING THIS MESSAGE TO THE ATTENTION OF THE STATION OWNER AND/OR MANAGER
If your emissions inspection station is located in one of the counties listed above, you must now begin performing live inspections on your NYVIP2 inspection equipment.
You MUST complete the switchover by 11/18/2013. Failure to perform the transition by the above date will result in your station being placed at the end of the line and may jeopardize your ability to perform inspections on December 1.
If you have not yet initialized your NYVIP2 equipment please follow the instructions for doing so. You can find a copy of the instructions at WWW.NYVIP.ORG Go to “Forms and Downloads” and click “NYVIP2 Emissions Analyzer Setup”. After performing a successful initialization, please proceed to the instructions for switching from Testcom to Systech equipment at WWW.NYVIP.ORG Go to “Forms and Downloads” and click “NYVIP2 Preparing for Emissions Inspections” to print out a copy for your reference. Any questions, on either procedure, may be directed to Systech at 1-866-OBD-TEST (1-866-623-8378). Facilities in need of assistance are encouraged to place Service Requests online by visiting WWW.NYVIP.ORG If you have not yet ordered NYVIP2 equipment, and would like to keep your inspection station license in good standing after December 1, 2013, you may still place an order. Please review NYVIP messages 93, 95, 100 and 102 for more information.
